New Feature in Ensurvi: Battery Status for Your Drone Flights
At Ensurvi, we are constantly working to give you better oversight of your drone operations. Our latest addition is **automatic battery status**, which helps you monitor your batteries’ health and lifespan – directly within the platform. This feature was developed because many operators requested an easy way to track battery performance over time and detect issues before they become critical.
How It Works
When you upload a drone log, Ensurvi analyzes the built-in battery data from the flight. The system tracks, among other things:
Start and end voltage
Percentage consumption
Number of charges
Temperature during flight
Based on this data, the platform calculates an overall **battery status** and shows how the battery performs over time. This allows you to quickly spot if a battery is losing capacity or behaving abnormally. You can then take action before safety is compromised – for example, by removing the battery from rotation or planning a replacement.
A battery that loses voltage too quickly can be an early sign of wear or a defective cell. With Ensurvi’s analysis, you can identify trends before they develop, avoiding unnecessary risks during routine flights.
For drone operators flying many missions, keeping track of battery history can be challenging. When you have ten or twenty batteries in rotation, it’s easy to lose track of which perform best – and which are starting to lag.
With Ensurvi’s battery status, you can:
Plan replacements based on real data, not guesswork
Extend battery lifespan with timely maintenance
Increase safety by avoiding unexpected voltage drops during flights
Document battery condition for quality assurance or inspection reports
Especially for companies operating professionally with inspections, mapping, or monitoring, battery data can be critical. Ensurvi allows you to link battery status to specific flights, so you always know which battery was used and how it performed.
Part of a Bigger Picture
The battery status feature is a natural extension of Ensurvi’s drone log analysis, which already provides insight into flight altitude, signal strength, GPS data, and more. By combining these data points, you get a more complete picture of both equipment and flight habits, helping you optimize operations across your organization.
Our goal is to give drone pilots and operators a data-driven foundation for better decisions. Instead of guessing when a battery should be replaced, you can now document it – with facts straight from your flights.
Getting Started
Simply upload your existing log files – Ensurvi takes care of the rest. Under the Dashboard → Batteries tab, you’ll see all your batteries and their current status in an easy-to-read overview. From there, you can dive into each flight and see how the battery performed.
For even better oversight, you can assign a battery ID to your physical batteries and use it as a reference throughout your setup. This way, you always know which batteries are ready for use and which need service or replacement.
Ensurvi makes it easy to fly safely, efficiently, and with full control over your resources – down to the battery level.
